Magnetic Cartatz™ are printed with UV resistant ink on an adhesive vinyl that provides the flexibility needed to hug the curves of your car. This is then fixed onto thick magnetic material made specifically for vehicles and will not damage your auto finish. Next we add a clear laminate UV resistant coating that adds an additional layer of fade and abrasion resistance.

Where can I put it on my car?

Magnetic Cartatz™ can be placed on any surface that is free from molding, rivets, screws, door jambs or handles, latches or anything else that will create an uneven surface. The magnetic Cartatz™ must be able to evenly adhere to the metal surface from edge to edge. Ensure that the edges are in full and complete contact with the metal surface. Under no circumstances should you place your magnetic Cartatz™ over molding, rivets, screws, door jambs or handles, latches or any uneven surface. An uneven surface will allow air underneath the surface that may cause it to lose adhesion and fly off your vehicle! Make sure your vehicle surface is clean and dry and the magnetic side of the Cartatz™ is dry and free from debris before placing it on your vehicle.

Your magnetic Cartatz™ must be placed in an area that will allow full contact from edge to edge. Measure width and height and make sure that your Cartatz™ selection will fit in the allocated space. Remember that all Cartatz™ are measured using width first and then height. Example: A measurement of 18”x12” is 18 inches wide and 12 inches high. This would be great for a tailgate!

Vehicle surface must be clean and dry. Wipe the magnetic side of the Cartatz™ with a soft cloth. Remember it is magnetic and you want to make sure that it is free of any small particles that may scratch your finish before laying it down. Lay it down, ensuring that the magnetic material is flat and evenly adhered from edge to edge.

Pull it off! It is that simple.

The most important things to keep in mind with magnetic Cartatz™ is to 1) make sure it has made full contact with the car body, and 2) keep it clean.  In order to adhere properly the magnetic surface must be clean and free of dirt and debris.  A magnetic Cartatz™ does not have a watertight bond, it will collect small amounts of water and dirt.  Dirt will keep it from fully adhering. After rain you should pull it off and clean the magnetic surface.  When not in use, your magnetic Cartatz™ should be stored dry and flat. We recommend you keep the cardboard it is shipped in for this purpose. If necessary you can clean your magnetic Cartatz™ with a mild detergent, water and a clean soft rag (to prevent scratching). Do not leave your magnetic Cartatz™ on when going through a carwash! Make sure it is dry on the magnetic side before putting it back on your car.

Your magnetic Cartatz™ is guaranteed against defective workmanship or damage caused by excessive weather (see exclusion below.) If defective or damaged your magnetic Cartatz™ will be replaced with the same product for a period up to 2 years after purchase. Please keep proof of purchase date. We will not be responsible for nor replace any product due to improper application. Please follow directions.

Any design applied to a hood or car roof is subject to intense UV rays. We will guarantee that your magnetic Cartatz™ will not fade for at least a year when placed on a hood or car roof. We cannot guarantee that a design applied to a hood ro car roof on a 24/7 basis will not experience some fading over time. If you have any concerns or questions about this please contact us.
